Brick House Art 2025: The Magic of Bricks Takes Over Arezzo

From Saturday, November 15, Arezzo is ready to once again host one of the most beloved exhibitions for brick enthusiasts: Brick House Art, the grand show of Arezzo Christmas City.

For this edition, the magnificent Palazzo della Fraternita dei Laici, right in Piazza Grande, will host over 3 million bricks and more than 40 works from all over Italy. Two floors of exhibitions transform the space into a true kingdom of creativity: from monuments to works of art, from dioramas to large installations, every corner tells unique stories built piece by piece.

On the first floor, in the spaces of the Casa della Musica di Arezzo, the creative heart of the event can be found: interactive workshops to build and personalize your own Minifigures, as well as a shop where both adults and children can find boxes, unique pieces, and gift ideas for the holidays.

A unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the magic of Christmas through the imagination and creativity of bricks: Brick House Art is an event not to be missed, unique in Italy.

The magic of bricks returns to Arezzo Christmas City 2025 with Brick House Art, the most famous Christmas brick exhibition in Italy, ready to enchant adults and children alike. From November 15 to January 6, the Tuscan city will host the House of Bricks, a true paradise for Lego and creativity enthusiasts.

Over 3 million bricks and more than 40 works on display will transform the historic center into a fantastic world. Two floors of installations, from monuments to paintings, from dioramas to works of art, will tell incredible stories built with the world’s most famous bricks. All creations come from exhibitors across Italy, ready to amaze the public with their skill.

But Brick House Art is not just an exhibition: it is a complete experience for the whole family. On the first floor of the Palazzo, in the spaces of the Casa della Musica di Arezzo, visitors can participate in creative workshops, build their own creations, and personalize Lego Minifigures, as well as explore the shop with boxes, unique pieces, and gift ideas.

The location, the magnificent Palazzo della Fraternita dei Laici, overlooking Piazza Grande and right in front of the Christmas Markets, offers a spectacular setting that makes the experience even more magical. The 2025 edition brings an unmissable novelty: in addition to the ground-floor exhibition with unique works, the spaces of the Casa della Musica become a completely new and renewed area, dedicated to workshops and interactive activities to stimulate the imagination of both children and adults.

This year, Brick House Art brings two major novelties that will make the experience even more convenient and fun for families. For the first time, the exhibition will also be open on Thursdays, following the same schedule as the Tyrolean Village in Piazza Grande, and it will remain active until Epiphany.

In particular, from December 18 to January 6, 2026, the Brick House will be open every day, allowing visitors of all ages to immerse themselves in the magic of bricks without time limits. Extraordinary hours and dates are designed specifically to meet the needs of all families, making this Christmas experience truly accessible to everyone.

Among the many works on display, Brick House Art 2025 promises to leave adults and children alike amazed. The most spectacular attractions include the largest illuminated Lego Minifigure in the world, about 3 meters tall, and the majestic reproduction of the Titanic, the longest Lego transatlantic ship ever built. There are also historical and iconic creations such as the Twin Towers, faithfully reconstructed in Lego style by the talented Daniele Budei of the Leonessa Brick group, supported by his entire family.

Among Italian works, the faรงade of Santa Maria del Fiore with the attached Giotto Bell Tower, created by Luca Petraglia, stands out, as well as the amazing Guinness World Record Christmas Village by Andrea Cortesi, built with over 400,000 bricks. Also unmissable is the creative MOC reproducing the Berlin Wall, designed by Federico D’Annunzio, which combines history and imagination in a unique work.

Among the dreamlike works making their debut in Arezzo, the bust of Michelangelo's David, astonishingly created by Stefano Mapelli in collaboration with Pierluigi Cervati, stands out—a masterpiece that leaves viewers speechless for its attention to detail. Fantasy enthusiasts will not want to miss the Tower of Saruman, built by Alex Bonelli and over 2.5 meters tall, a true monument to imagination.

Also present are iconic creations such as the Court House by Stebrick and the Eiffel Tower of Paris, faithfully reproduced by Edoardo Rogialli.

Another fascinating section of the exhibition is dedicated to the great paintings and portraits revisited in Lego style by Roman artist Stefano Bolcato, in his personal exhibition. From portraits of Queen Elizabeth to Amy Winehouse, passing through Maradona, Van Gogh, Magritte, and Dante, the path offers a vast repertoire that unites classical art and pop culture, all through the magic of bricks.

To emphasize the artistic value of his creations, Bolcato has also decided to display some photographs of the “working progress” of the works present in Arezzo, showing the construction process and confirming that these are true works of art and not just prints.

There are also creations inspired by the Disney world: the Frozen Castle and Rapunzel’s Tower, made by Silvio Giovetti, and the charming reproduction of Lady and the Tramp by Stefano Mapelli, which transports adults and children into the world of beloved fairy tales.

With great honor, I participate in Brick House Art 2025 for the fourth consecutive time, bringing a different and original work every year, never repeating myself. This year I am pleased to present my most ambitious project to date: the Realm of the Six Houses, a unique creation that celebrates imagination, detail, and creativity, and which I hope will capture the imagination of all visitors.

The exhibition also features other original works that make both adults and children dream: the Amerigo Vespucci, the famous sailing ship reproduced by Luca Gaudenzi; the fun Ragazzo di Campagna, inspired by the famous film by Renato Pozzetto and created by Abramo Foggi; and the spectacular Ferris Wheel by Fabio Bertini, bringing the magic of amusement rides directly into the world of bricks.

The Christmas villages by Andrea Festa and Enrico Braga add magic and atmosphere to the exhibition, while the Tomasello family amazes with a 4-square-meter miniature town full of details to explore. Monumental works include the lighthouse by Piero Bianchi, imposing and spectacular, and the pirouetting space city by Manuel Falcione, an explosion of creativity and movement that immediately captures visitors’ attention.

In this section, imagination and creativity are absolute protagonists, demonstrating how the Lego world can become an incredible tool to tell stories, convey emotions, and build dreams.

On the first floor of the Palazzo della Fraternita dei Laici, the creative heart of the exhibition can be found: the Play and Workshop Area. Here, adults and children can give free rein to their imagination, building, designing, and creating their own MOCs or personalizing their favorite Lego Minifigures.

This space is not just a workshop: it is a true place of experimentation and fun, where every visitor can feel like an artist for a day. Next to the workshops, the shop offers boxes, unique pieces, and many gift ideas designed for all ages, perfect for making Christmas even more special.

In summary, Brick House Art 2025 confirms itself as an unmissable event, capable of combining magic, creativity, and fun in a single, extraordinary Christmas experience.
